At Gary’s Rods and Restoration we have an award winning body and paint department. This service is our specialty. We pride ourselves on using the finest Axalta (Dupont) and Standox products for unsurpassed durability and shine.

Detailed and Clean

Attention to detail such as panel fitment, gaps, and clean edges are what we concentrate on along with flawless bodywork. We exceed the customers’ expectations when they see the final product. One major advantage we have over other shops is our paint booth.

Consistency

We are one of the few restoration shops to have a heated down draft paint booth which heats the air through a 1.2 million BTU furnace before entering the booth which allows us to paint at a constant temperature. This also heats up the metal temperature of your cars body and panels which allows the paint to react properly and set up in between coats.

Outstanding Paint Quality

After we have completed the spraying process we bake the fresh paint at a predetermined temperature and time to ensure the job is cured before removing from the booth. This greatly decreases the time period between painting and the buffing process and ensures that there will be no die back or shrinking after you receive your car back.

Long Lasting

Your vehicle’s paint will look the same as it does years from now as it did when you first picked it up because the fresh paint will be fully cured.

All work is done by hand by our experience technicians and every job is approved by Gary before it enters the booth for painting.

Gary’s Rods and Restorations have acquired many “outstanding paintawards over the years including the Grand National Roadster show and the Sacramento AutoRama just to name a few.
