1929 Woody

Body Bottom

1929 Woody was built for the rock band V2.  Based on a cartoon drawing this Woodie is truly 1 of a kind. The customer likes his cars low and loud. To achieve his request this car features an in-house built chassis featuring 2x5 main rails with large kick-ups with a chrome-moly tube cross-section. The loud part comes by the way of a Top of the Hill performance 6-71 Blown 460ci Ford which produces over 600hp on the dyno.

We were seriously diggin' Ignatius Piazza's '29 Ford woodie built by Gary's Rods and Restorations with 460c.i. of BDS-supercharged Ford power between the rails! This one-of-a-kind build was based off a cartoon drawing, then brought to life with a custom-fabricated chassis using a Kugel independent rear suspension setup with a Super Bell 4-inch dropped axle up front with Johnson Dog Bones. The body is finished with House of Kolor Tru Blue Kandy and the woodworking was completed by Moonchild Productions. ET wheels and Hoosier tires put the power to the ground.
